Drones and River / Floodplain Projects
Imagery captured using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or Drones, as they are commonly known, provides a valuable insight into environmental projects, whether for baselining, restoration mapping, evidencing restoration or promotion. We fly two different drones, the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise and the DJI Mini 3 Pro. We are licensed to fly both in the open category.

Orthomosaic Base mapping
Publicly available aerial imagery is useful, but lacks the resolution required for many projects. By flying pre-programmed routes, we take 100s of high-resolution photos and stitch them together into one georeferenced high-resolution basemap. This can be provided in a format to go directly into GIS or CAD, or as a web layer link to use in ArcGIS Online.
360° Panoramic Images
Utilising our specialist software, we can create interactive 360-degree images, which can be marked up with features and provide a fantastic engagement tool. We can provide the raw files, or a link to the hosted image to include on your website or social media.
Video and Stills
The capture of video and stills of projects provides a useful record, and we rarely undertake a project without utilising drone imagery in some way.
