Since March 2023, our network of volunteer citizen scientists has been collecting water quality data to help build a clearer picture of river health. These community-led observations complement the monitoring carried out by regulatory agencies, filling important gaps and providing more frequent, locally specific insights.

Citizen science not only strengthens the overall understanding of river ecosystems but also fosters community engagement by giving individuals a direct role in safeguarding their waterways. By contributing to this dataset, volunteers help highlight trends, identify potential issues, and support informed decision-making for river conservation.
